Autobiography

I am highly interested in remote sensing for climate, weather, and change detection applications. I have a particular interest in the use of satellites and aircraft for water monitoring and resource management, and I have worked closely with many kinds of satellite and aerial data (including altimetry, SAR, gravimetry, and magnetic field). I am pursuing a career combining environmental and Earth sciences, satellite data, and geospatial data analysis. I completed my bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin in May 2022. In 2024, I have completed from my masters program in Earth and Space Physics and Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), with a specialization in Earth Observation. I have worked as a graduate research assistant from 2022-2025, in which my research focused on the use of satellite altimetry for gravity determination over inland lakes and combining altimetry and optical imagery for river water monitoring. In February 2025, I started an industrial PhD at Copenhagen University in collaboration with DHI and the Global Wetland Center. My project will focus on the integration of process-based hydrological modeling and machine learning with earth observation data for improving carbon flux estimates in tropical wetlands.
