Autobiography

I am a dedicated wildlife researcher with over eight years of experience at the Tanzania Wildlife Research Institute (TAWIRI). My career has been fueled by a deep passion for assessing wildlife habitats to ensure sustainable conservation. Over the years, I have honed my skills in spatial analysis, remote sensing, and data management and analysis, which have been crucial in identifying vital habitats and evaluating potential threats to wildlife. My skills include qualitative and quantitative data collection, generating digital data collection tools using CS Entry, Survey 123, Open Data Tool Kit, and Kobo Toolbox, data management and analysis using Ms. Excel, IBM SPSS, and JMP 17 Statistical Software, and cartographic and geospatial analysis using ArcGIS, QGIS, and IDRISI TerrSet Software. I am also proficient in camera trap deployment and data management using MegaDetector and Wildlife Insight, as well as graphics designing using Adobe Photoshop, Idesign, and Illustrator. Additionally, I have expertise in photography with Nikon and Canon cameras. My dedication lies in harnessing the power of community knowledge and the latest technological advancements to safeguard the biodiversity that is crucial for our planet's health and future.
