Autobiography
Started a position as a PhD researcher at RPTU, Germany, on a project called Kili-SES, where I study perceived vs. potential NCP supply in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania.
I have a master’s degree in Germany from the Technische Universität Dresden in ‘Ecosystem Services’.
Previously completed my bachelor's degree in ‘Environmental Science (Study Abroad)’ at Lancaster University, UK and Monash University, Australia.
Spent a year in 2021/22 in Manchester, UK, working as a climate change data scientist, conservationist and environmental journalist.
Wrote my undergraduate dissertation on deducing the most efficient strategies for conserving insect pollinators in the UK.
Conducted research for my master's thesis on governance and policy options for the conservation of a species called the Mongolian gazelle.
This work was part of a German government-funded project called 'MORE STEP'.
This involved a research trip to Mongolia, in August-September 2024, where I conducted interviews with stakeholders about policy options and social preferences towards different ecosystem services (NCP) associated with this species.
