Autobiography

Stanley Mbilinyi is a conservationist, graduated with a BSc. In Wildlife Management from Sokoine University of Agriculture in 2014, Currently taking a Masters of Science in Biodiversity Conservation at MUST. After graduation, he volunteered and was later employed as a database & extension officer with PAMS Foundation at its Ruvuma Elephant Conservation Project. His responsibilities involved supervision, collection, organization, and analysis of anti-poaching field data from VGS, along WMA’s based in the Selous-Niassa wildlife corridor. Then he served as a Law enforcement officer for four years at Matambwe, Selous Game Reserve, focused on result based Anti-poaching patrol supervising ground, aerial and water patrols. He feels conservation is closely tied to local communities have a sense of involvement in protecting their natural resources and incentives resultant from that participation and he is passionate about the new technologies helping Protected Area Management.
