I am Godwin Ikoona, a diligent and persuasive individual, completed Bachelor of Tourism Management with Upper second class in the Department of Tourism and Recreation at Sokoine University of Agriculture in the year 2023, showcasing a keen interest in hospitality, tourism, and conservation. Now pursuing a Master's degree in Wildlife Management and Conservation at Sokoine University of Agriculture in the Department of Wildlife Management, joined the University for Master’s program in November 2023. I am deeply passionate about exploring in detail Wildlife tourism and Biodiversity conservation, with a focus on sustainable conservation practices and cultural preservation. My academic journey is complemented by hands-on experience gained through fieldworks like game protection, game safaris and game capture at Udzungwa-mountains National Park and Tarangire National Park in Tanzania, demonstrating commitment to the tourism and conservation fields. With a strong foundation in tourism management and a thirst for knowledge in Wildlife ecology, I aspire to contribute meaningfully to the development of the tourism industry and create positive impacts in biodiversity conservation.
