Autobiography

I am George Shoo, a Tanzanian wildlife enthusiast and conservationist. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Management from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA), where I developed a passion for biodiversity conservation and human-wildlife interactions. I am currently persuing my Masters in wildlife management and Conservation at SUA. My research focuses on impacts of biodiversity conservation strategies, focusing on socioecology perspective.I will use field surveys, remote sensing, literature reviews and community engagement to study wildlife dynamics,habitat management, Community livelihood and Ecological changes. Moving forward, I plan to explore the socio-ecological impacts of conservation strategies in Tanzania, particularly in Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs) in Northen highlands, to develop sustainable policies that benefit both wildlife and local communities.
