Autobiography

My name is Hope Shubira Titus, and I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Wildlife Science and Conservation from the University of Dar es Salaam, currently progressing with a Master's of Science in Natural Resources Assessment and Management at the University of Dar es Salaam. I have experience in wildlife surveys, ecological monitoring, vegetation assessment, and community-based conservation activities. My training has equipped me with skills in species identification, ecological data collection, spatial analysis, and scientific reporting. I am particularly interested in large mammal ecology, with a focus on species distribution, habitat use, and conservation challenges across protected and human-dominated landscapes. I have worked with wildlife authorities, conservation organizations, and local communities on various research and conservation initiatives, gaining a strong understanding of conservation policies and research ethics. I am committed to producing research that contributes to evidence-based wildlife management in Tanzania, and this proposed study aligns with my long-term goals in ecological research and conservation.
