Anselm Silayo is a Lecturer in the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies at the University of Dodoma, where he teaches Environmental Assessment, Soil Sciences, and Natural Resources and Conservation. He also works as an environmental consultant on a number of local and World Bank-funded projects in the fields of energy, mining, wildlife, water, agriculture, and transportation. He is also a registered Environmental Expert with Tanzania's National Environment Management Council (NEMC). Anselm holds a Masters of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Natural Resources Assessment and Management from the University of Dar es Salaam's Institute of Resources Assessment (IRA). At the University of Dar es Salaam, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Geography and Environmental Studies. Anselm has approximately ten years of research experience in Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs), Resettlement Action Plans (RAPs), and Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEA)
