Autobiography

Dr. Tom Butynski is an American wildlife ecologist and conservationist who has worked for 54 years in Africa as a field scientist, conservationist, and program leader. Most of his work has been on the ecology, behavior, taxonomy, distribution, abundance, and conservation status of primates, antelopes, rodents, warthogs, and birds. He has conducted wildlife surveys at many sites in 10 countries (Botswana, Equatorial Guinea, Uganda, Kenya, Eritrea, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Gabon, Cameroon, and Democratic Republic of Congo).
