I am resercher specialising in developing and applying techniques to improve and advance wildlife monitoring, and in using these to improve the conservation management of threatened populations. I have experience working in southern Tanzania, as well as in Senegal, Gabon, Malawi, Zambia, and Mozambique. In Tanzania, I carried out my PhD research in the Ruaha-Rungwa system, and have since worked in both the Selous-Nyerere and the Moyowosi-Ugalla complexes.
