I have had multiple experiences working with wildlife in varied habitats for different durations. My first field work experience outside of my education was conducting whale and bird surveys off the coast of North West Scotland for a month living on a sailing boat. Since, then I have collected more behavioural data collecting data on the sexual behaviour of rhesus macaques in the free ranging population as a research assistant for a PhD student at the Caribbean primate research centre site: Cayo Santiago. Afterwards, I lived in South Gabon for 11 months collecting biological samples (feces, urine and semen) of wild habituated mandrills as well as collecting behavioural and audio data of more than 200 individuals. I hope to continue studying animals in their natural environment and learn more about their social behaviour and ecology.
