Ally J. K. Nkwabi obtained his B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. at University of Dar es Salaam. Early research focused on ecology of fauna and flora, human-wildlife conflict as well as assessing biodiversity in different wetlands. After Ph.D. in November 2016 Dr. Nkwabi served as Principal Research Officer at Tanzania Wildlife Research Institute (TAWIRI). He has published 18 Papers in peer Reviewed Journals, 15 Chapters in a book and he has published one book on Birds of Western Tanzania (Gombe, Mahale, Rubondo, Saanane, Malagarasi, Ntakata, Minziro).
