I will be conducting research at the Greater Mahale Ecosystem Research and Conservation project looking at the effects of wildfire regimes on spatio-temporal movement and ranging patterns in wild chimpanzees (Pan troglodytes) in the fire-prone, savannah-mosaic miombo environments of western Tanzania. More broadly, I am interested in movement ecology in the context of environmental disturbance, and how this can impact conservation biology.
