As a geologist and soil scientist I am devoted to elucidate the role of active tectonics and rock-soil interactions in dynamic human-landscape systems. I combine field observations with satellite remote sensing, geo- and pedochemical analysis and numerical and agent-based modeling procedures in interdisciplinary international research collaborations. I am deeply committed to equity, diversity and inclusion in achieving academic excellence.
