My name is Denis Nemes Mally. I was born on 08/09/1994 in the village of Marangu West in Kilimanjaro region. I studied primary education at Kilaremo Primary School from 2001 to 2007, where I graduated from standard seven. From 2008 to 2011, I attended secondary education at Marangu Secondary School. I joined Mweka Wildlife Management College in 2012, where I graduated with a Certificate in Wildlife Management in 2013. Later, I continued my studies for a Diploma in Wildlife Management in 2014 and finished in 2016. I got an internship at TAESA Tanzania Employment Service Agency and joined TAWIRI in 2022, where I received a one-year contract until 2023. Throughout the internship period, I worked as a field assistant on the lion project at the Serengeti Research Center. I was officially employed by the Tanzania Wildlife Research Institute on 01/10/2024 as a Field Assistant II, where I continue to monitor lion research.
