Autobiography

My name is Said Habibu Bilibili, the only son and first born in the family of five children. I was raised and grown in rural village within Lushoto District in Tanga Region. I started my education in 1995 in Lunguza Primary School in Lushoto District. Thereafter, I joined Mnazi Secondary School in Lushoto District for Ordinary level education in 2001. Between 2006 and 2008 I obtained my Advanced level education in Usagara Secondary School in Tanga Municipality. From 2008 to 2011 I pursued my BSc in Wildlife Science and Conservation at University of Dar es Salaam. In 2013 I was employed under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism (Wildlife Division) as a Game Officer and worked in Rukwa and Uwanda Game Reserves in western part of Tanzania in Katavi and Rukwa Regions. For the purpose of advancing my career in Wildlife Conservation, between 2018 and 2020 I pursued my Masters degree in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics at Sokoine University of Agriculture. The formulation of Tanzania Wildlife Management Authority (TAWA) in 2016 made most of the staff under the then Wildlife Division including myself to be transferred to TAWA in 2016. From 2020 I am working at TAWA Headquarters within the Directorate of Tourisms and Business Services. Currently I am pursuing PhD studies in Wildlife Ecology at Sokoine University of Agriculture.
