Autobiography
Dr. Naza E. Mmbaga is a female researcher currently serving as a Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of Biology at the University of Dodoma (UDOM) Tanzania. Dr. Mmbaga is an expert in biodiversity conservation and management of agro-ecological systems, with over 15 years of experience in this field. She has conducted extensive research on landscape ecology, human-wildlife interactions, and livelihood strategies, including agriculture, in the context of changing climate and land use patterns. Dr. Mmbaga has published more than 25 research articles in reputable international journals and has supervised over 10 postgraduate (PhD and MSc) students, as well as more than 50 BSc students, both within and outside UDOM. In addition to her research activities, she has taught various interdisciplinary courses at UDOM and other institutions. Dr. Mmbaga has successfully secured funding for her research projects from prestigious organizations, such as DAAD, COSTECH, UDOM, and REPOA.
